Connectivity overview

The Bango Platform is available on the internet at certain URL endpoints, and Bango uses several mechanisms to protect the Bango Platform from unauthorized use. This section lists the base endpoints for each Bango API, and explains the security mechanisms.

• Bango API endpoint URLs: The base URLs you use for each Bango API
• Basic authentication: How Bango identifies, authenticates, and authorizes you using a standard HTTP-based system
• IP whitelisting: How Bango restricts at the IP level which of your hosts are permitted to access the Bango Platform
• TLS/SSL with X.509 server certificate: How Bango enforces secure connections over HTTPS, and proves the Bango Platform's identity to you
• Signing HTTP Messages: How Bango enforces the signing of HTTP messages
